Packaging Design Course

This course was designed to make the students research their local crops historically, understand their cultural significance and economic value, and communicate it through the design of the packaging for one of its main products and by-products.

The students were asked to design with the farmers and understand all their needs in relation to package design, from the Farm to the Farmer’s Market, and from the Farmer’s Market to the Duty-Free.

The course offered several field trips, guest lecturers, and workshops, all to help students get a better understanding of the crops within their context, in addition to the main functionality of packaging and its production techniques.
